Prático Lar opened its doors to the public in 2014 in Aveiro, but already boasted the extensive experience of its founder, Sara Oliveira. Sara began her professional career in banking and later worked in Lisbon’s demanding real estate market. Aiming to create personalized service and establish closer relationships with clients, Sara decided to move to a more family-friendly environment and open her own company.

The main corporate purpose of Prático Lar is:

- Real estate mediation;

- Promotion of real estate for tourist rental;

- Property management on behalf of others;

- Provision of services to customer acquisition companies in the telecommunications sector;

- Promotional activities to publicize banking, financial and insurance products, within the limits permitted by law and without exercising activities exclusive to credit institutions, insurance companies or financial companies;

- Support in contracting water, electricity, telecommunications and gas services;

Prático Lar is a registered trademark, as is its logo.

Prático Lar’s brand image reflects this intention, drawing inspiration from the Roman guardian deity "Lar," guardian of the land, cultivated fields, and properties, recalling the past, where these figures were adopted in family settings to represent peace and family prosperity. The chalice (rhyton) and the tray (patera) present in the logo are direct references to the figure of "Lar," typically depicted as a woman carrying in her arms the elements representing annunciation and prosperity, respectively.

History

On December 1, 2014, Prático Lar obtained License AMI 10764 and opened its doors to the public for the first time on Rua Comandante Rocha e Cunha, in Aveiro on December 19, 2014.

In February 2016, it opened its doors and moved to a new store in Oliveira do Bairro, where its headquarters are located, at Rua do Foral 125, thus maintaining a very welcoming office in Aveiro at Avenida Dr. Lourenço Peixinho 173 S/LE.

In response to the needs and unavailability of Owners, in 2019, Prático Lar expanded its services and added the Cae for property management on behalf of third parties, which is based on supporting the tenant with repairs, complaints or problems with the Property and periodic inspections of the Property.
