The contracts were signed last July 10th, with Duarte Novo, President of the Oliveira do Bairro City Council, asserting that "the sports associations in our municipality have done an absolutely remarkable job and have deserved all the support we have given, especially in creating conditions for the work developed, both in its competitive and more recreational aspects, to achieve the greatest possible success." According to the leader of the Bairrada municipality, "with all criteria and support defined in their own regulation, in a transparent and objective manner, the values of support to associations from the City Council have increased, which reflects the work that has been done by their leaders in attracting more members and/or athletes, in the case of clubs, but also in developing more activities and investing in infrastructure, which clearly demonstrates the strength and enormous vitality of our associative movement." For her part, Susana Martins, Sports Councilor of the Oliveira do Bairro City Council, made a point of expressing "a huge thank you to all leaders, technicians, athletes, and their families, for the work they have developed." The financial supports were granted as part of the applications submitted to the Municipal Regulation for Support to Associations of Oliveira do Bairro, specifically to the measures "Support for General Associative Development," "Support for Youth Sports Activity," "Investment Support," and "Support for the Implementation of Specific Actions." The associations that signed the financial support contracts were: Associação de Melhoramentos da Mamarrosa; Associação Desportiva, Recreativa e Cultural de Oiã; Associação Desportiva, Recreativa e Educativa da Palhaça; Associação Desportiva, Recreativa, Ambiente e Cultura do Rêgo; Clube de Atletismo de Oliveira do Bairro; Clube de Ginástica de Oliveira do Bairro; Clube Desportivo Caça e Pesca do Concelho de Oliveira do Bairro; Frei Gil Voleibol Clube; Grupo Desportivo Águas Boas; Grupo Desportivo Troviscalense; Mamarrosa Futebol Clube; Oliveira do Bairro Sport Clube; União Desportiva de Bustos.
